Noise Monitoring
The Casella CEL-62x series of Digital sound level meters are available to satisfy both ANSI Type 1 and Type 2 (IEC Class 1 and 2) accuracy classifications. Available in four kit configurations these instruments are able to measure general workplace noise parameters, as well as industrial hygiene requirements where octave band analysis is required for the effective selection of hearing protection.
Sound Level Meters are handheld devices, which can be used for workplace noise or environmental surveys. Models are available to measure just the cumulative noise (CEL-620) such as average and peak levels for workplace noise, where octave band (B versions) can be used for the selection of hearing protection. The CEL-630 series features time history storage and parameters for environmental noise (CEL-633) and also have 1/3 octave band analysis (C versions).
